Industrias Abalde – Conflict Minerals Policy

Overview

In August 2012, it has been working in a set of rules to control the origin of certain materials, called “Conflict Minerals (known as 3TG Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten and Gold). As a result, many companies are focusing on establishing controls to ensure what extent of these materials our products may contain and if these minerals come from Democratic Republic of Congo and the adjoining countries named in the rules.
In general terms, Industrias Abalde is commited to ensure health, safety and protection of people who come into contact with our products, both among our employees, suppliers and all related to products and materials used.
To meet this challenge, we count on the cooperation of our suppliers, since it requires a high level of concern and compliance with social, environmental and human rights.
